I am part of the Avison Young Hotel and Leisure team which I joined in January 2016, the opportunity to join an established dedicated Hotel and Leisure team offers opportunity that would be difficult to achieve elsewhere.I principally provide RICS Red Book compliance valuations for secured lending, financial statements, inheritance tax and as an Expert Witness. The main property types I cover are caravan parks, hotels, public houses, holiday cottages and leisure villages along with visitor attractions. Having gained experience within the secured lending area I have a solid appreciation of security issues and the problems of restructuring/recovery and have also been an LPA Receiver for 20 years.Though based in Cardiff I cover the south west and Wales regions with caravan parks nationwide. The Cardiff office of Avison Young is one of the firm’s hubs of excellence within the hotel and leisure sector with 6 members providing Valuation and Agency advice in the licenced trade caravan and hotel sectors with the ability to draw upon other experienced team members if required. The office also provides commercial property advice and development services including valuation, agency, building surveying and planning.
