I am a purpose- and values-driven consultant who aims to transform food systems to make them sustainable, healthy, equitable, and fair. I am currently working with the Stockholm Environment Institute as a Farm to Fork Advisor on the GUMA project, a consultant with CIWF developing case studies and a regenerative agriculture assessor for EIT Food.Recent clients have included the Global Alliance for the Future of Food (research and reports on food narratives and the health impacts of food systems), the World Health Organisation, WWF, Healthy Food, Healthy Planet (mapping European subregional actors), the Food Foundation, Feedback, and World Animal Protection ( reports of factory farming).1) Collaborative projects for food systems transformation: I work on national and international projects focusing on bringing diverse actors together across the food system to identify opportunities for transformation. Tools and techniques include futures, horizon scanning, scenario planning, systems & stakeholder mapping, stakeholder workshops, and developing visions and new narratives. 2) Food Systems Research and Analysis: I have extensive experience writing policy position papers, food sustainability trends, roadmaps, briefings, and policy white papers for various organisations, using various stakeholder-led techniques. 3) Designing organisational strategies: I advise various organisations looking to review their sustainability strategies for sustainable food systems, bringing a food systems approach to their thinking and diagnosis. 4) Funding and Project Evaluation: I am an experienced food systems funder evaluator and work with various private and public sector funding schemes ( e.g, EU Horizons 2030) to assess funding applications. 5) Facilitation, presentations, and the media: I am an experienced facilitator who regularly facilitates and moderates workshops, seminars, and conference events. I give various food systems presentations in the UK, Europe, and globally.
