ABOUT MARK DORESTIN

I’m a first-generation college student majoring in Criminal Justice at Palm Beach State College, with plans to transfer to Florida State University and pursue law school. My interest in law, leadership, and public service drives me to create meaningful opportunities for others and contribute to my community in a real way.Through my internships with State Representative Jervonte Edmonds and Integrity Contract Mining, I’ve gained hands-on experience in both government and business. These roles have strengthened my communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills while giving me insight into how leadership and legislation directly affect people’s lives.Right now, I’m focused on building a strong foundation in legal studies and political strategy while expanding my professional network. I’m especially interested in the connection between law, policy, and entrepreneurship—and how those areas, when combined, can create access, fairness, and long-term opportunity for the communities I care about. I’m always open to connecting with professionals, mentors, and leaders who can help me grow and who I can learn from.
