About Mark Dean

Mark has 17 years at Chevron developing assets throughout the Gulf of Mexico (shelf and deepwater), the Permian Basin Unconventionals, and the Saudi Arabia Partitioned Zone; focused on optimizing return in new developments and harvesting value from mature assets with a holistic approach to asset development, production operations, and value chain optimization to drive competitive performance. With a background in Asset Development and Production Operations, Mark has been recognized by his company for excellence in Safety Performance, Reservoir Management, and Base Business Optimization. His career has been centered in developing oil assets with an increasing level of responsibility and impact with each assignment. Previously a Permian Asset Team Lead at Chevron, he managed a cross-functional team with a $100 MM to $200 MM annual capital budget with up to boed production. Most recently, Mark was selected to join the Leading Performance initiative to coach Chevron\'s cross-functional leaders in the Permian to exhibit top quartile leadership behaviors to drive competitive performance for the business unit.
