ABOUT MARK DAVIDSON

Are you the founder of a technology company who has reached that point where you have developed your product, you are beginning to validate your product market fit and are now searching for investors who can provide not only capital but also their knowledge and expertise to support you and your team to scale? ESM Investments was founded in 2011 to provide that exact support. In terms of profile of companies we invest in, they typically have the following characteristics- Technology focused – you are solving “real world” problems for your target market with innovative technologies - Evidence of product market fit – you don’t need to be smashing £1mn ARR revenue targets but we do look for evidence that you have customers who are “willing to pay” for your solution- Some form of “defensibility” – you have IP or are confident you will be granted IP- Compelling growth story – you are clear on where you will focus your resources and energy and that there will be attractive returns - “Soft” attributes – we want to work with founders and their teams who are open minded, not afraid to be challenged and fun to work with.
