Mark has been advising businesses and their owners on a range of issues since 2004.He helps clients with all aspects of corporate work. He focuses on acquisitions and sales; investments (acting for management teams, sellers and investors) and general corporate advisory work, including company structures and group reorganisations.Mark also advises on employment law; commercial agreements; IT & intellectual property; and insolvency.Recent projects include acting on the sale of a group of companies in the professional services industry; assisting with an investment alongside private equity; negotiating and drafting a multi-million pound framework agreement for a software developer; and advising on a succession plan for a family owned business, including a purchase of own shares and setting up a family investment company.He has advised clients in industries including ports & logistics, waste management, market gardening, IT and e-commerce, professional services, leisure clubs, care homes and home builders.Throughout his career, Mark has built extensive contacts across the East Riding, Hull & Humber region; large parts of Europe; and extending as far as China, the Middle East and North & Central America.Mark has served as a member of the Management Board at Bridge McFarland LLP since May 2023.
