ABOUT MARK DALRYMPLE-SMITH

After 30 years in government service, I am a confident and resourceful programme management professional and leader, who is highly skilled and experienced in the delivery of organisational change, security, ICT and technology projects. I am able to set a clear, relevant vision and to deliver it through a range of different analytical, project and change management techniques both agile and otherwise. While comfortable operating in areas of pressure, complexity and ambiguity, I also possesses the flexibility and judgement necessary to find the most strategically appropriate way forward whatever the circumstances. Whilst I have a strong technical background in security, ICT and wider technologies, I am also a proven leader with a passion for motivating and developing highly performing teams and individuals. I believe strongly in the vital importance of communication and influencing skills in promoting active engagement with senior leaders, customers and stakeholders at all levels and have successfully deployed these in building joint capabilities in multi-organisational environments, promoting collaboration and harmonising cultures and manging the delivery of strategic outcomes through skilled technical, security and programme teams. I have recently joined CMC where I intend to build on my P3M skills and to combine them with CMC\'s best of breed change and business agility capabilities to provide excellent project and programme management services for clients in both the private and public sectors.
