ABOUT MARK DA COSTA
Western University graduate (2020) with a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science and a minor in Economics. I began my insurance career in group underwriting at Sun Life, building a strong foundation in analytics and risk evaluation. Now, as a Consultant, I focus on internal communications, building training/e-learning material, and change initiatives — combining my technical background with creative thinking to make complex ideas clear and actionable. Previously, I also worked as an actuarial tutor with Etched Actuarial, where I supported students through the early stages of their SOA exam journeys. I thrive at the intersection of analytics and storytelling — using both to help teams understand, adopt, and succeed through change.
