At Home Group I’m part of an award winning internal communication team for a housing association, social enterprise and charity with a turnover of over £450m, which is one of the UK’s largest providers of high quality housing and integrated housing, health and social care. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, as Internal Communication Change Lead I- Plan, implement, and measure strategic and tactical internal campaigns and communications - Work closely with stakeholders at all levels and across all directorates, including our executive and management teams, and in collaboration with our external communication colleagues - Use change tools, theory, and best practice to ensure communications are aligned to strategic and operational delivery, including by upskilling teams and individuals to deliver - Manage our internal social network, Workplace by Meta, and our SharePoint intranet, Homeworld - Plan, develop, launch, and maintain a suite of award winning colleague-focused chatbots for Workplace using The Bot Platform - Promote and advocate internal channel adoption and use to support organisational culture, colleague engagement, self service, and ways of working, across a highly diverse and inclusive organisation - Audit our internal communication activity to provide analysis and recommendations - Help plan and deliver themed awards events with high profile hosts for large colleague audiences, as well as strategic progress update events for business management. Skills and experience from previous roles include- External communications, including experience in social media, email, PPC, SEO, online analytics, media monitoring and analysis, design, and PR - Tender response and bid management, including supporting a successful £1.9m bid for ultra low emission transport funding in 2016’s Go Ultra Low City Scheme - More than 100 enterprise software client wins across a ten year period, including several individual contract values in excess of £100k - Quantitative and qualitative research, helping to develop strategies and transformational projects for the smart and sustainable transformation of cities, focusing mainly on transport - Co-authoring a good practice guide, co-funded by Transport for London, for local authorities on policy measures they can use to encourage the uptake of low emission vehicles. I am commercially and ethically focused, with excellent digital, communication, and people skills, and I can communicate complex and challenging ideas in an engaging and easy to understand way to a wide variety of audiences.
