Leading established teams within the Risk Function, supporting and servicing five divisions. These teams include: internal audit, compliance, security and data privacy teams. In addition a large financial validation and administration team falls within the remit. Responsibilities include,• Data protection and GDPR management• Leading an internal audit team, owning the audit framework and facilitating external audit visits, ensuring risks are reported and treated / mitigated.• Designing a compliance function with accountability for implementing contracts, ensuring all guidance and training is fit for purpose and supporting performance throughout the life of provision. • Responsible for a security team within a key contract, physical, and data security falling within the remit • Validation of financial and contractual performance, including ownership of CI activity within this area• Interpretation of legislation and contractual requirements.• Production of guidance, processes and resource design.• Training to both internal and supply chain staff for subject matter areas.• Trend and root cause analysis, ensuring a continuous improvement approach is established.• Leading on whistleblower, investigation and anti-fraud policies and activity.• Scheduling and completion of contract and site audits for internal and supply chain partners• Responsible for ensuring information security and governance forms part of contract and delivery model design and is embedded within the business.• Responsibility for physical and technical security across appropriate contracts where appropriate.
