As a subsector Leader in EY Canada’s Energy practice, my primary focus is advising multinational clients in the energy industry on a wide range of tax related issues. I am also a partner in EY Law LLP. With over 20 years of experience in professional services, my key specialties include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing and reorganizations of investments and business operations inbound into Canada and outbound from Canada. I lead a team of professionals in the International Tax & Technology practices that developed EY Digital Surplus an advanced cloud-based application that allows for customizable solutions to automate surplus calculations. I have been a sessional lecturer for the Taxation Law and Policy course at the University of Calgary under the Faculty of Law. I am also a frequent speaker on Canadian international tax topics.
