ABOUT MARK CLAYTON MRAES
Leading breakthrough research in business life cycle decision making through a combination of digitally stored data, trend algorithms, and support frameworks combined to form a user interactive digital decision support system. I have presented research at the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit (EMSS) in Munich, Germany, and I am currently focused on data mapping and researching within the aerospace maintenance sector.In addition to the application of design science research, I am a strong business leader with leadership roles in general management, supply chain, operations, and programmes. I have an open personality that embraces those working with and around me, as I am definitely a team orientated person who is both player and coach. My experience extends to commercial and contracts management as well as a significant amount of lean tool understanding and implementation from experience in both the aerospace and automotive sectors.I currently lead the aftermarket engine controls, small and medium engines value stream, at Collins aerospace. This is a role with ownership of customer satisfaction/communication, operational control & planning, engineering, quality, contract administration, and strategic leadership. With full P&L responsibility for the value stream globally, I have a wide appreciation of business requirements both tactical and strategic.
