About Mark Child
I have commercial, non-profit and volunteer histories both in the US and UK, having led departments and community groups on both sides of the Atlantic.I have developed my interest in planning and public law with the benefit of my previous housebuilding career and community roles, which enables me to offer extensive legal, practical and development assistance with a focus on community-led projects. I have a particular passion for community-led development and the permanent affordability that community land trusts can provide, ensuring that development does not risk displacement. I see community-led work as a critical step towards changing the culture away from individualism and polarisation, to one of inclusiveness and mutual aid.
