I’m a software engineer, manager of a variety of team sizes and skill levels, working up to 12 years of experience. I had an unconventional start self-teaching before promptly jumping into networking and freelancing to seek coaching and fill in the gaps. I gained experience through trial and error, being a part of both large organizations and founding teams, some of which are now large organizations!I’ve had my hands in everything from full-stack apps to games, pipelines, and infrastructure. What ties it all together is my love for picking up skills and a record of picking up well. My motivation will always be learning to do better than I did before; that means making better user-centered directives, making things run smoother for colleagues, and overall just making better products. Everyone works to meet standards, but I want to deliver results that create a win-win scenario for everyone involved.I started my career taking lots of chances and seeking resources for coaching and self-improvement.
