Pier J - Brooklyn Navy Yard - May 2016 - October 2016 Worked as Superintendent/Project Engineer overseeing demolition of a failed pier. Existing fill and concrete were removed to expose the underlying structure. Qty 70- 105\' long steel 14x117 ppf H-piles as well as 50\' steel sheet piles were driven to support new precast concrete eliminates tying the new construction in with the old. Complications existed as the facility remained open during construction. Pier 54 HRPT - Waterfront Esplanade - June 2015 - February 2016 Worked as a Superintendent overseeing the project startup and day to day production. The project involved rehabilitating a dilapidated bulkhead. Different areas along the waterfront had steel sheet piles driven to repair the existing bulkhead. Trevcon also drove 104 - 24\" square concrete piles with varying length steel stingers. Precast concrete caps, planks and edge beams were then set and a concrete topping slab was poured. This bike path expansion was a necessary preliminary project along the west side highway in preparation for other projects to be constructed by the Hudson River Park Trust. Unique challenges existed as a steel arch from 1908 was to remain on the site. Piles were successfully driven within the arch\'s foundation to help support the structure and tie it in to the new pier. Pier 17 - South Street Seaport (Financial District NYC) Helped run Trevcon\'s first pile welding operation in Trevcon\'s Elizabeth yard. Due to job site circumstances additional piles were needed and pile fabrication was increased to help sustain job production. Over 200 joints were spliced using 24\" diameter 0.500\" wall cylindrical pipe. Submerged arc welding process was utilized to expedite production. 34th st- East Midtown Waterfront Esplanade (NYC) Helped supervise the installation of two timber pile fender systems. Worked hand in hand with the general contractor finishing final punch list items to close out the project.
