ABOUT MARK

To paraphrase the late great Bill Shankly:\"Some people believe design is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.” Mark Case is owner / director of Whitenoise, which he founded in the summer of Having studied at York College of Art before going on to work for major UK clients including British Coal Board (yes, he’s really that old), B&Q, Thorntons Chocolates, Thomson Holidays and Asda, he and his family moved to Northern Ireland in 1996 and prior to opening Whitenoise he worked in some of Belfast’s highest profile agencies. A member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and the Northern Ireland Design Alliance, he has lectured throughout Ireland, the UK and overseas on all aspects of design practice. Perhaps best known for managing complex brand development programmes, his work can be seen for diverse clients such as global survival specialists Survitec Group, and closer to home for Danske Bank and Translink. Since he has overseen the growth of Whitenoise from a fledgling design practice to one of Northern Ireland’s leading creative studios, offering brand development, animation, film and digital media services, for business and broadcast, all in-house. Mark suffers from a serious technology addiction, particularly all things Apple. Happiness for him is an unopened package.
