About Mark Cabato
I am a business development executive at Immunis, Inc, a regenerative medicine biotech.Founded by serial entrepreneurs and stem cell experts, Immunis is developing an advanced therapy, a novel stem-cell derived secretome turned regenerative biologic, to reverse the biological deficits associated with immune dysregulation due to aging and age-related diseases.Our first product, IMM01-STEM, is a novel multi-active biologic that demonstrated a reversal in muscle atrophy and a rejuvenated metabolism in aged mice. We completed a Ph 1/2a trial in muscle atrophy in older patients with knee osteoarthritis, which showed a clean safety profile with no serious adverse events and a functional efficacy signal.Having completed a $25 million Series A-1 raise, we will be conducting two Phase 2 trials targeting sarcopenic obesity and muscle atrophy in older patients in 2025. By running randomized, controlled studies in elderly populations with degenerative disease and metabolic dysfunction, we hope to demonstrate IMM01-STEM’s broad applicability in multiple medical conditions.
