Hello my name is Mark Burridge. I am a content marketer and journalist with experience as a reporter, editor and content marketer. I have excellent SEO skills and am great at building internal and external relationships with SMEs as well as other stakeholders. Having graduated with a BA - English/Communications with concentrations in journalism, professional writing and public relations, I have fantastic news sense and am very adaptable to different industries.As the content writer for Proterial Cable America where I created engaging and informative website content, social media copy, press releases, and other creative projects, I worked cross-platform and managed content strategy for a major wire and cable manufacturer. With over 12 years of experience in writing, editing, and communications, I have developed a versatile and adaptable skill set that allows me to produce high-quality content for different audiences and platforms.Before PCA, I worked for Keches Law Group, developing content, managing SEO and establishing and growing connections with SMEs all while helping grow social media presence, and greatly increasing website traffic.For the 10 years before that, I worked as a journalist for Gatehouse Media and Gannett, covering news, sports, arts and entertainment, and digital media. I was a leader in the newsroom, managing freelancers and interns and serving as a mentor to young reporters.I have also worked as a Communications Coordinator for Friendship Home, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
