Summary Mark is a highly dynamic visionary, creative director, music producer, teacher and performing artist who has been the driving force behind a range of successful creative, educational and community-based initiatives. Working with an unusually diverse client base he has repeatedly proven his ability to intelligently balance the conflicting priorities, personalities and constraints that realising a bold vision demands. Key Skills Initiative: Being highly self-motivated, where others see dead-ends I create opportunities to move forward. Recognising the potential to develop our small local festival into a national-scale event and turn derelict buildings into a world leading centre for arts, education and sustainable living, I mobilised an initially sceptical community and personally united conflicting parties, from preservationists to developers, politicians to artists, landowners to festival-goers, behind one of UK’s largest restoration and heritage projects. Working with people: From teaching music production workshops, demonstrating state-of-the-art software and hardware at leading music industry events and festivals, to supporting the delivery of cultural events and multi-million pound community initiatives, I have worked with people from all walks of life in many different settings. As such I have developed a keen ability to meet people on their own terms and understand what makes them tick as well as how they interpret information, this enables me to work on par with everyone from marginalised urban youth groups to industry professionals and politicians.
