Head Of Engineering for Digital Cloud and Product Services - Heading a global team which is responsible for a range of cloud products and services which we design, automate, build, deploy, monitor, secure and support for the rest of the bank, as well promoting good practises and tooling to many other teams. We offer various platforms and services using a large range of cloud services predominantly in AWS and GCP. This allows hundreds of developers to run a large variety of different internal and external applications. My focus is heavily to the delivery of these platforms/products and the challenges that brings in a large global bank whilst still keeping my hands on the code and automation with a large team of engineers spread around the world.
