About Mark Block
I’ve been a “techie” my entire life. I’ve worked in Defense and Commercial, big companies and small. I’ve been a Computer Operator, Developer, Project Lead, Project Manager, Program Management and now run my own company. In all my roles, the common theme is “process”. It’s said that “The best engineer is a lazy engineer.” While it doesn’t sound like a compliment, it simply means you should do a job efficiently to minimize costly errors and missteps.(Even in my hobby of Barbershop Harmony, I apply these principles to learn new songs.) Good processes also require good communication and good communication requires respect among all parties. These are values that I apply to all aspects of my life.
