His experience in fabrication shops began early, working as a drafting technician in his father’s natural gas compressor manufacturing shop, following which he transitioned into becoming a landlord and a builder, focusing primarily on development, servicing, building, subdivision, and condominium permitting. Mark went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Political Science at the University of Calgary, working as a researcher on the energy-rich regions of the Middle East. He worked on a number of academic manuscripts on Middle East politics and eventually took the post of Assistant Editor for the International Journal for Contemporary Iraqi Studies before returning to the world of commercial real estate when he joined Inducor in 2008.Professional AssociationsMark has been a board member of the South Foothills Owner’s Association.
