Documented dramatic increases in sales and Ebitda in every market I have been a Manager.GM of the STAR Radio Group in Fredericksburg VA. Which includes \"The Sports Animal\"​ online, on air and in print product, Healthy Life Virginia a daily newsletter, 5 Radio stations and associated web products. Also part of the \"Publishers Advisory Committee\" developing cross platform selling opportunities for the entire company. The stations are co-owned with the local Daily Newspaper which has been owned by the same family for over 100 years. I was the third Manager of the Radio Stations since 1960 and was selected after a nationwide search and exhaustive interview and background check. Newspaper division had huge debt that put the entire company, including radio into bankruptcy, the entire company was taken over by an equity firm. I had great success during my time there, with over a million dollars in new initiatives brought forth. Our family enjoys this area so I took an offer across town with an independent company Centennial Broadcasting, this offer came up unexpectedly but at a perfect time.Now Market Manager for Centennial Broadcasting charged with turning around the sales effort on a very popular FM station with a AM companion. Through June sales up nearly 10%, operating profit up 33% over previous year. I was also given additional responsibilities working with the sales dept in our co owned market Winchester Va for a short period of time.
