About Mark Bailey
My passion within the construction industry is historic masonry restoration projects. After graduating college with an A.A.S. in Architectural Technology and a B.D.A. in Architecture I spent some time employed in the architecture industry working on various restoration projects. Eventually I realized that I wanted to be more intimately involved in the physical restoration process which led me to make a career shift into the contracting community. I was hired on at Building Restoration Corporation early in 2011 as an architectural technician and worked my way up to project management. My responsibilities at BRC include-sales and customer service-building evaluations -bidding and estimating -scheduling -project management and oversight -billing and accounting -technical drafting and design-historic masonry material compatibility I take pride in my collaborative project approach which involves knowing and understanding the insights and perspectives of everyone involved with any project from the owner, the A/E, general contractors, consultants and subcontractors. I am a student of this profession and I am always interested in learning about all things masonry restoration related.
