I am responsible for leading and overseeing a team of Highway Inspectors to ensure the delivery of accurate and reliable inspection services that comply with statutory requirements and promote road safety.I ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of customers and employees are comprehensively considered and addressed throughout the planning and execution of each service activity.I provide effective line management for a team of Highways Inspectors, including the timely setting of objectives, conducting performance reviews, and developing appropriate succession and professional development plans.I oversee the allocation and utilization of team resources to maintain appropriate staffing levels for all assigned activities, including managing duty responsibilities related to highway asset advice during incidents.I develop and implement inspection schedules in accordance with agreed timelines, budgets, and procedures, ensuring all inspection findings are accurately documented in relevant systems and meet data recording standards.I ensure the timely delivery of inspections for asset repairs, and to address any delays, recurring quality issues, or concerns through appropriate resolution or escalation.
