Quality management of assigned Supply Chains or 3rd party customers for AstraZeneca Globally • Responsible for all Quality activities that directly support execution of the Product Supply Chains for AstraZeneca supply to customer• Quality oversight during issue management of quality issues impacting the ability to provide the right product at the right time to the customer• Serve as the primary interface between Quality and the Supply Chain Leads / 3rd Party Customers and act as the Quality leader in the escalation of quality supply chain issues.• Actively perform Supply Chain related activities such as Continuous Improvement, Practical Problem Solving, Risk Management and Supply Chain design• Leverage the quality network at the AZ supply sites / External Sourced Manufacturing, in order to meet 3rd party marketing authorisation holder customer demands.• Act as the escalation point of contact for the Sr Quality Supplier Managers (SQSMs) on their Product Supply Chains / 3rd party interactions, when quality issues at a supplier impact the delivery of the right product at the right time into the Product Supply Chain• Act as mentors to SQSMs for development• Evaluate and propose improvements and perform self-inspections in applicable business process• Lead strategic initiatives on behalf of Quality Leadership Team• Perform the preparation and submission of periodic Supplier Quality Assessments, Regulatory Agency interactions and serving as Quality leaders on New Product Introductions• Regulatory Agency interaction includes preparation for, and management of Regulatory Agency inspections for QA/Compliance assessments of Product Supply Chains
