About Mark Anderson

I am a trial lawyer who focuses on bringing a broad range of complex cases to jury verdict. My varied client base includes both commercial entities and healthcare practitioners and institutions involved in a variety of litigation matters. I have developed a reputation for taking on complicated cases and preparing them successfully for trial by jury. I served as lead trial counsel in a case that was listed among the \"Top 10 Defense Verdicts of 2015\" by Courtroom View Network. I began my career handling jury trials throughout the state of North Carolina, mentored by some of the state’s finest trial lawyers. Originally focusing on the malpractice arena, I have expanded my practice to include product liability, commercial disputes, financial contracts, toxic torts, mass torts, insurance coverage, fire and explosion, and vehicular accidents, working individual witnesses and using their stories to prepare hundreds of cases for trial.I have served as managing partner of the firm\'s Raleigh office and as a member of the firm’s Board of Partners and Executive Committee. I am a member of the bar in NC and NY. With client engagements becoming more national in scope, I work out of both the firm’s Raleigh and New York offices.My litigation achievements have been recognized by numerous accolades. I have been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates as well as the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. I have twice been selected by Chambers USA for inclusion in its list of America\'s Leading Lawyers for Business, and in 2008 and again in 2014 was named as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in North Carolina by Law & Politics.
