ABOUT MARK ALLEN SMITH

Born and raised in Milan, Tennessee on November 1962, the youngest of 5 children. Enlisted in the United States Air Force in Aug 1981 and served as a Jet Engine Mechanic for 25 years. Devoted father and mentor, I have 4 adult children, 2 daughters & 2 sons, and 6 granddaughters. I\'m extremely busy with my current job, local affiliations, and the church. I\'m formerly the chapter advisor for Student Veterans of America chapter in the Office of Military & Adult Education at Albany State University. I was the past president and organizer of the Student Veterans of America at Valdosta State University and the former president of the Walden Woods Homeowners Association in Valdosta.Answered the call to the gospel ministry in April 1989 and began preaching in Djibouti, Africa in 1994. Founder & Pastor of Greater Ekklesia Ministries International in Valdosta, GA. The church was established in August 2002.I was consecrated to the Bishopric on 10 November 2010 in Atlanta, GA. I currently serve as General Secretary on the Board of Bishops of Grace Cathedral Christian Fellowship Incorporated with its headquarters in Greenville, SC under the leadership of Apostle Sammy C. Smith. I also serve as Establishmentarian of Greater Ekklesia Ministries International where I oversee fellowship churches in England & Jamaica.I\'m currently enrolled in the Ed.D, program in Adult and Career Education with Valdosta State Univesity. I completed M.Ed. in Adult & Career Education at Valdosta State University in May 2015. I also completed a Doctorate Degree in Theology from Midwest Theological University in Jun 2015. In 2014 Greater Ekklesia Ministries opened a satellite campus of Midwest College of Theology offering degrees at the Associate, Bachelor, Master, & Doctoral levels. I served as a satellite administrator. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. You are never too old to learn. I believe whole-heartedly:\"You Can\'t Do What You Don\'t Know.\"
