ABOUT MARK ALLEN

Chartered Safety and Health professional working within the aviation sector at Heathrow Airport. Experienced in business partnering, trade unions and report writing.Currently working as a Health and Safety Business Partner supporting Airside Operations, Airport Fire and Rescue Service, Operational Resilience and the Airport Operations Centre.My previous roles include Safety Governance and Reporting Manager and reporting to the Director of Fire, Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Heathrow Airport. This was a broad role with some key deliverables including either the creation off dashboards and papers or organising the agendas and papers for the different Executive Safety Meetings and Forums. Before this role I worked in Learning and Development and lead on several projects such as a Health and Safety training needs analysis for all colleagues at Heathrow and working with external providers to design Health and Safety courses for Heathrow: notably a 3 Day and also a 1 Day Safety Investigation course.As well as Health and Safety I am also an experienced operational manager with experience in leading teams in fast paced and dynamic environments such as Heathrow Airport (managing c150 staff directly and indirectly).
