I’m a commercially focused Business Adviser and Business Development professional helping SMEs make better decisions that lead to sustainable growth. My career spans SME advisory, B2B sales leadership and financial services, with a practical understanding of how revenue, funding and risk intersect.I’ve built my career around one core outcome, helping businesses move forward with clarity, confidence and commercial momentum.Across advisory and commercial roles, I’ve contributed to £8.8m+ in new business growth, delivered a 22% improvement in sales efficiency, and supported organisations ranging from sole traders to global brands.In my current role as a Business Adviser, I support 300+ micro and SME business owners across Essex, helping them clarify priorities, strengthen pricing and positioning, manage risk, and improve commercial resilience. My approach is deliberately relationship-led and diagnostic, using effective questioning, active listening and structured conversations to uncover issues many owners haven’t yet identified themselves.That might mean helping a business move from zero orders and planned redundancies to a full order book and team expansion, identifying margin leakage in a “best-selling” product, or supporting a turnaround that restores both confidence and sustainability. I’m known for being tenacious, curious and practical, focused on progress rather than theory.Previously, I’ve held senior business development, sales leadership and account management roles across industrial manufacturing, MSP services and regulated financial services. I’ve worked closely with C-suite stakeholders, redesigned sales journeys, coached teams and built long-term, trust-based relationships that convert into sustainable value.Alongside advisory work, I maintain a strong market-facing presence, using LinkedIn and in-person networking to generate inbound opportunities, referrals and ecosystem connections.
