ABOUT MARJORIE SCHUMAN
I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My approach to psychotherapy, a creative blend of mindful awareness and relational psychoanalysis, is based in deep self-inquiry. It is described in my book \"Mindfulness-informed Relational Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis: Inquiring Deeply (Routledge Press, 2017). My new book, published 2023, is \"INQUIRING DEEPLY: PROBLEMS AS A PATH TO AWARENESS.\" In addition to my psychoanalytic training (Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies), I have had four decades of experience practicing Buddhist meditation in the Vipassana tradition and teaching seminars about the intersection of psychotherapy and dharma practice.
