I have 20+ years of experience in education and workforce development policy and research, technical assistance (TA), program management, and project leadership. I have led or supported many Federal and foundation-supported TA, policy analysis, and research initiatives on the topics of workforce development, early childhood education (ECE) workforce, career and technical education, high school reform, adult education, career pathways, college and career readiness, postsecondary success, the education-to-workforce pipeline, Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, and Every Student Succeeds Act. In this capacity, she has collaborated and communicated with key stakeholders at the local, State, and national levels, including senior leaders, funders, the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and national industry experts, to present and provide technical and evidence-based information and assistance. I have developed 50+ TA reports, products, and tools. I have provided management oversight and technical support to national initiatives like DOL’s Registered Apprenticeship Industry Intermediary for Early Childhood Education, the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education Perkins V Quality Indicator Project, DOL’s Scaling Apprenticeship and American Apprenticeship Initiative Technical Assistance Projects, the National Governors Association’s Talent Pipeline Policy Academy, and the College and Career Readiness and Success Center’s State Work-Based Learning Initiative, as well initiatives for the National League of Cities and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Research Network.
