ABOUT MARJANA UDDIN
I am a Commercial and Technology Lawyer with 9 years of experience gained through my apprenticeship in contentious and non-contentious seats. I hold a first-class law degree and was admitted as a solicitor in November 2025 after successfully passing SQE1 in January 2025 and SQE2 in April 2025. During my training, most of my seats were commercial focused which gave me a strong background in contracts. I now advise on a wide range of commercial, data protection and technology matters. My experience includes contract drafting and negotiation, risk assessment, legal research and providing practical, business-focused advice to internal clients. In November 2018, I was awarded the Asian Apprenticeship Award for the Finance, Legal and Professional Services category. This award commemorated my work in promoting apprenticeships as a credible alternative to university and means of accessing certain professions. I’m also passionate about diversity and inclusion within the legal profession. As a member of my legal division’s D&I steering group, I help explore ways to improve representation and access to legal opportunities through outreach programmes.
