About Marissa K. Nelson

As a child, growing up with the likes of Martha Stewart, Christopher Lowell, and Aleene\'s Creative Living there was no doubt that I would follow into a similar creative career path. At an early age I developed a passion for reviewing floor plans, looking at real estate and obsessing over the interior decorating styles of the surrounding neighborhood model homes. My passions led me to become a graduate of the renowned Houston Community College Interior Design Program; where my basic knowledge of interior decorating was metamorphosed into a technical science of interior design. I continued my education through the Home Staging Resource which is a highly accredited course by the Real Estate Staging Association where I specialized in Real Estate Staging and earned my HSR Certified Professional Home Stager and ReDesigner Certification. I have continued to further my studies in Kitchen and Bath design with an emphasis on Universal and Barrier Free Design, and am currently a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
