About Marissa H

Marissa is a senior software engineer at Alkami Technology. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin majoring in computer science with a certificate in global management and a minor in business. Since graduating college, where she was very involved on campus, she has worked for Expedia Group and MANTL which has since been acquired by Alkami Technology. At Expedia she was part of a rotational program and was promoted at the conclusion of the program. For most of her time there, Marissa worked on the recommendations team where she built, maintained and monitored APIs using kotlin and supported an internal console using react. During her time at Expedia, she worked closely with machine learning engineers and had the chance to explore building tools using generative AI. Her next professional role was at MANTL, now Alkami Technology, on the activations team where she was promoted again. On the activations team, she uses javascript for backend development to support clients getting onboarded, implementing new features and maintaining the product. Marissa works closely with implementation managers on projects to ensure clients are activated according to a specific timeline. Marissa is interested in finding equitable solutions with tech, international business and exploring other cultures through travel! You can often find Marissa volunteering or outside, or perhaps volunteering outside!
