About Marissa Wyrick

I am an advocate for supporting local communities and business owners in and around the Greater Austin and Greater San Antonio areas. As a member of ULI\'s Resilience and Sustainability Local Member Council I am able to expand on my passion for environmentally conscious development and sustainable business practices.With 10+ years of experience in the private land and site development sector, I continue to learn and grow every day. My work spans a variety of project types, and I’ve taken on roles from design engineer to project manager—gaining valuable insight into the full lifecycle of land development.In addition to my technical and project management responsibilities, I’m actively involved in business development and client relations, helping to grow and maintain strong partnerships throughout Central Texas. I also participate in several professional organizations and contribute to our office culture by leading initiatives such as our Ladies’ Lunches and the internal Speech Society—programs that support personal development, mentorship, and team connectivity.I am hardworking, goal-driven, and organized—as well as detail-oriented, creative, and analytical. Over the years, I’ve worked to strengthen my communication skills and leadership capabilities through both professional roles and community outreach efforts.As a lifelong learner, I enjoy sharing both the educational and fun sides of engineering with younger generations, and I remain committed to making a positive impact through my work and mentorship.

   As a Project Manager, I oversee the planning (entitlements), design, and execution of civil site development projects across the Central Texas region. I manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and client expectations. My responsibilities include direct client coordination and internal team leadership. I mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. I\'m also involved in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships.
