About Marissa Krynak

Hello,My name is Marissa Krynak and I am a recent graduate from Wayne State University, with a Masters in Sports Administration. While I attended Wayne State, I worked as the Graphic Design Graduate Assistant for Wayne State Athletics. I was able to do graphic design, photography, and social media for all 18 varsity teams. In April 2023, I received my BFA in Graphic Design from Grand Valley State University. As well as worked for their athletic department for two years. When it comes to the workplace, I am a huge team collaborator. I always like to meet new people and like to collaborate with new people. I also am a team player. I think working in a team makes me feel confident in the workplace, but more-so with Graphic Design because I think giving someone feedback and then receiving it back from people helps me guide through a project. And I feel confident when I give other people feedback and it makes me happy that I am able to do that so that the other person can feel confident with their work and help them make the best work they can. With the experiences I’ve had with Athletics at Wayne State and GV, it’s made me passionate about pursuing the world of sports.

   Collaborated with departments organization-wide to create print, web and promotional assets- Developed logo concepts and merchandise artwork- Coordinated with external vendors to fulfill printing needs- Corporate sponsorships; sweepstakes, videoboard, welcome to the team partnerships card - Consulted and created assets for touring musicians for Titletown Beats- Aided fan engagement for perks reward members during home games
