I started my journalism career a decade ago, roaming pages at 5 a.m, seated next to a noisy printing press. Today, I update website code and push breaking news alerts just as deftly, albeit more quietly. After several years as a local daily journalist, I now work in an industry niche that has always fascinated me: recycling. Building on my past experience covering the Washington legislature, I created a recycling policy-focused newsletter that reaches over readers each month, providing comprehensive analysis of domestic and international legislation, in addition to the daily tasks of putting out newsletters and supporting a print magazine.
