   As President of Midwest Devo, a nonprofit junior cycling development team, I lead our mission to introduce and support young athletes (ages 8–18) in the world of cycling and racing. I oversee direction, daily operations, and long-term growth, ensuring we provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for riders and their families.Key Responsibilities & Impact-Guide and mentor 100+ youth athletes across multiple disciplines (mountain, cyclocross, track, and road)-Lead organizational strategy, fundraising, sponsorship, and community partnerships to sustain and grow team programs-Oversee operations including practice planning, race scheduling, travel logistics, and equipment management-Organize and direct large-scale cyclocross races, managing logistics, volunteers, venues, and sanctioning to deliver high-quality events that support both grassroots riders and elite competition-Build and maintain a culture of development, teamwork, and fun, supporting athletes from their first race to international competition-Manage a board of directors, coaches, and volunteers to execute programming and ensure organizational health.Represent the team regionally and nationally, serving as an advocate for junior cycling and youth sports development.Through this role, I combine leadership, nonprofit management, and community building to help young athletes not only grow as riders but also as confident, resilient individuals.
