ABOUT MARISSA ARNDT
In 2020, I completed my master\'s degree at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy for the MAMA Program (Master in Arts Management and Administration). While my undergraduate academic background was focused on art history, Italian language & culture, and business administration, a large part of my professional experience is in account/client management in marketing & advertising agencies in Chicago such as Leo Burnett and Schafer Condon Carter, across brands such as Marlboro, IQOS, AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and IDEAL Industries. While my personal affectations have always been in the art and cultural world, I was able to gain valuable business acumen and client management experience in the fast-paced world of advertising before making a transition into the arts.Following my graduate education in arts management, I transitioned into the arts by working as an auction associate at Concept Gallery & Auction House, on the exhibitions team for a summer apprenticeship at Contemporary Craft, and now in my full-time role in the exhibitions department at the Andy Warhol Museum.
