Serve as the Colorado AARP state office lead facilitating the work of Colorado’s 22 AARP Age-friendly designated communities. Lead staff overseeing the state’s AARP Challenge Grant programming and local rural grant partnerships. Lead staff overseeing statewide work examining diversity programming, support services and resource allocation to BIPOC elders.• Serve as the staff expert on the World Health Organization’s Age Friendly Network for the state of Colorado ensuring currently enrolled and newly designated communities have actional plans addressing the eight domains of livable communities.• Oversee all grant programs from the state office to enrich the work of livable communities across the state; conduct all granting efforts through an intersectional equity lens with a special focus on aging populations unserved and invisibilized.• Lead a statewide cadre of volunteers addressing disparities in aging and staff the Latino-serving El Comité paying special attention to aging Latinos across the state.• Serve as presenter on caregiving within communities of color and resource management through public presentations and local group facilitation; facilitate local advocacy efforts to enrich the lives of older adults
