About Marishka Bachman
I am a dedicated and passionate design professional, with decades of residential and commercial interior design experience. My career started in the high-end residential design field. There, I learned the delicate art of client relations through listening and anticipating their needs. In addition to the satisfying work of designing very personal spaces with beautiful furnishing and finishes, I also managed projects, coordinated with contractors, and produced construction documentation. I transitioned from Residential to Hospitality, where I was able to bring my elevated and approachable design sensibilities to restaurant design, then the private club market. The private club market though niche offered a wide expanse design opportunity: bars, restaurants, locker rooms, event spaces, gaming rooms, and more. In depth project budgeting was important as well as fastidious FFE specification and procurement.I am currently working in mainly the multi-family market, where I have the opportunity to shape the vitality and enduring aesthetics of communities through new builds and renovations. Transcending trends, we design public facing spaces that engage and comfort the residents.

It has been rewarding to shape the vitality and enduring aesthetics of communities through new builds and renovations. Transcending trends, we design public facing spaces that engage and comfort the residents. I am able to be hands on with every aspect of the project: client and design team interfacing, design layouts and concepts, rendering, construction documentation, specifications, project management, and finally installation/staging.
