ABOUT MARISHA NAIR
I am currently the ASIA Senior Regional Program Manager for The DO School Fellowships, working on beVisioneers: The Mercedes Benz Fellowship program. I also hold the role as the Community Development Advisor for Project Defy, working across community strategy, management and development. I have over 9 years experience in; supporting youth from diverse and disadvantage backgrounds, across an array of climate, environmental and human rights issues, through advocacy, program design and implementation. I have worked in Australia, North America, UK and now across the EU and Asia. I completed a Master of Human Rights with Distinction, majoring in international human rights advocacy and development. I am highly invested in the intersection of climate change, natural disasters and the local communities which are impacted by them.
