Choate\'s art is for everyone, and she believe that “life doesn’t live forever so neither should art”. Her work focuses on creating art that anyone can appreciate and enjoy. In general the art world ignores the disabled. Choate want to change that. Her work specifically embraces and allows disabled individuals to participate with the work.It is very important to share Choate\'s story and her family’s story with a focus on disability, through her work. It focuses on their shared genetic and physical history. Her work is about embodying feelings and wearing emotions. She shows interior elements, both physical and emotional, on the exterior of the body.
