ABOUT MARISA SOARES
Marisa is a geotechnical engineer with eleven years’ experience in the offshore wind industry.Her most recent experience relates to the management and planning of site investigations, interface with design packages, T&I packages and procurement. Since 2020 she has had experience as ground engineering manager of EAHub and Windanker offshore wind farms and she currently is the EA3 OWF ground engineering lead.She also has over 6 years of experience in ground investigations and geotechnical designs for offshore renewables projects from early concept through to detailed design including Dudgeon, Beatrice and Triton Knoll offshore wind farms. She also has experience in ground investigation and geotechnical design for onshore infrastructure projects. During her PhD she specialised in advanced laboratory testing and advanced geomechanics interpretation relating to soil liquefaction.
