I work as the Career Center Coordinator at the Nashua Technology Center at both Nashua High School North and Nashua High School South.• Coordinate activities in the Nashua Technology Center which include counseling individual students; facilitating lessons for entire classes, monitoring the schedules for the Career Center Personnel; maintaining and updating the resources in the Career Center; planning and implementing systems for servicing Nashua students.• Design and deliver a variety of presentations/workshops relating to career development, including resume writing, interviewing, job searching, etc.• Field and disseminate information regarding incoming business calls related to jobs and placements in the community and maintain student job boards and website.• Conduct Career Assessments with students.• Maintain student centered database on career development results.• Maintain database on industry partnerships and relationships.• Partner with two-year career and technical education programs and two year post-secondary colleges for college fair.• Participate in open houses, incoming freshmen events, information fairs, program advisory meetings, and recruitment activities (including marketing to area schools).• Assist CTE Directors with marketing strategies that can include maintaining website content, developing and updating brochure and print materials as well as the Career Center’s social media presence.• Active in marketing outreach through classroom presentations, small groups, and one-on-one work with students.• Serve as liason for dual enrollment agreements with various college and universities (CCSNH schools, SNHU, Rivier University, etc.).• Assist various CTE programs through the accreditation process.
