During my college career, I became exposed to the public health field through courses and internships at non-profits. After completing my B.S from UC Santa Cruz in 2018, I worked with families experiencing homelessness providing services such as temporary shelter, rental assistance and case management. This led me to continue working in and advocating for affordable housing to ensure that all persons in our community can be healthy with safe, stable and affordable homes.
