Manage annual fundraising budget of $2 million; work alongside our Executive Director on planning and executing our comprehensive Capital and annual fund campaigns to complete the building of our new theatre as well as create additional reserves for both capital and artistic endeavors; cultivate relationships with Board members, major donors, sponsors and community partners to affirm and sustain programmatic support; manage all fundraising efforts and initiatives including portfolio management and assignment, special events, and overseeing our Development Project Manager and grant writer. ACCOMPLISHMENTS •Increased operating revenue totals 100% in six seasons, by identifying, securing, and upgrading sponsors. This past year, successfully raised over in additional revenue over goal during the COVID-19 pandemic, above and beyond the supplemental government and state grants. •Worked collaboratively with senior leadership to bring in multiple seven-figure gifts over the last three seasons, securing reserve funds for artistic and capital projects. •Restructured our Development Team to include a full-time grant writer who also focuses on institutional prospecting; a development events and major gifts officer who leverages large gifts through cultivation of participants of these events; and a Director of Patron Advancement who manages effective individual renewal campaigns and stewardship of potential advocates to major giving levels. •Began working directly with our outreach program managers to see outcomes in action, and to produce more accurate expense budgeting, viable donor leads,and reporting standards for funders. •Collaborate with partners in all earned revenue arenas which includes weekly meetings, proper segmentation of lists in our database, and regular analysis of response rates and results. •Implemented Phoenix Theatre’s first planned giving program, including its rollout and integration into our annual fundraising communications.
