ABOUT MARION S. MCINTOSH
Marion S. McIntosh, from Monroeville, AL, is the Process Engineer Lead for the Line 1 Paint Dept. at Honda’s Alabama Auto Plant. He has been employed there for 19 years & is currently the Treasurer for their African American business resource group. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering. While at the Capstone, Marion was an initiate of the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is currently a Life Member. He served as the President of the UA Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), an SGA Senator, and a Student Fellow in the Blackburn Institute. He also served two (2) terms on the NSBE Region Executive Board. He was also a member of the Afro American Gospel Choir.Marion enjoys mentoring young engineers & engineering students as well as speaking to youth groups. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Blackburn Institute and is in his third year on the UA Capstone Engineering Society Board of Directors. His hobbies include fishing, running, tailgating, politics, traveling, and socializing with family and friends.
