About Marion Chan

Marion is a Managing Director in PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management Sector with a special focus on Cyber, Risk and Regulatory matters. Prior to joining PwC, Marion spent over 25 years in general counsel, chief compliance officer, chief supervisory officer and senior risk roles at several of the world’s largest asset and wealth management firms. Most recently, as the head of centralized supervision for a major wealth management firm, Marion helped lead the development and implementation of several AI and natural language processing solutions that resulted in significant improvements in effectiveness, efficiency and cost. Marion is very excited to leverage his multi-disciplinary experience on risk and controls issues to support the clients of PwC.Marion has also been a committed supporter of diversity and inclusion efforts including as corporate sponsor of the NY/NJ/CT chapter of the Asian affinity group, ASPIRE, steering committee member of a company-wide focus on the Asian employee experience and frequent speaker and panelist on career development challenges.Marion received his B.A. from Cornell University and his J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
